Message from the Principal

Principal GrgicSt. Rita School has a rich tradition of providing an exceptional Catholic education. We provide our students with today’s high-end technological learning, which include interactive whiteboards in all classrooms as well as iPads and Chromebooks for students to use in the classroom and at home. Our extra-curricular activities provide our students with a wide variety of engaging, fun and thought-provoking organizations geared to enhancing your child’s learning throughout the school year. We have one of the most successful sports programs in the area through our participation in CYO sports. And we have been recognized by the Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School with our students consistently finishing among the top 10% in the Nation. In 2014, we were awarded the Governor’s Award for Excellence in STEM Education.

St. Rita School is dedicated to our student’s academic achievements, moral development, service to others and leadership skills. This is what sets St. Rita School apart from other area schools. Our Primary, Middle and Junior High Schools offer students an opportunity to learn and grow in a safe and disciplined learning environment. St. Rita teachers inspire and excite students to be inquisitive, raise questions, be thoughtful, seek answers, discuss findings and to love the process of learning.

At the core of our learning is our Catholic Faith. Our students develop lasting Christian attitudes and practices which will enable them to adapt to our ever changing world. Our goal is to prepare today’s Catholic youth to go out into the world and be upstanding leaders...commit to giving back through service...and to never stop learning.
